To one of the best: Andrew Beach

Today I would just like to say 
Happy Birthday to Andrew Beach. 

Andrew. You've told us since you were in high school you knew you wanted to be a youth pastor because your youth pastor did so much in your life. I think if I were to ask the FEC teens they would agree that what ever you aspired to be as a youth pastor, you have achieved it. You are such an amazing man and play such a big role in our lives, and we don't stop and say thank you enough for the way you love us, have fun with us, teach us, and push us.

If you don't know Andrew Beach... which would be a shame. He's my youth pastor. One of the best ones out there. Being a youth pastor, he deals with complaining, immature, over - curious, rebellious, and "in the process of learning" kids. Oh my word. This man deals with it ALL. And quite often he doesn't get much appreciation. He has given so much of his energy, time, creativity, emotions, and really LIFE to our youth group at FEC. We really are blessed to have man that is so committed to us. He has created youth group traditions like Run the River, Mission Memphis (Champions Edition), Worship Nights and a lot of other things!  He started taking us to Crossings Camp and Gulf Shores. He actually spends personal time with us. He gives us nick names and makes fun of us. He pushes us individually to seek God and to be the best people we can be for God.  He gives us countless opportunities. He teaches us the word of God. He gives us adults in the church to go to and learn from. And he never stops. He always shows up. With pizza and a game. With a new crazy idea. With a verse to share. With the next T- shirt design. With enthusiasm. AND with a playlist to sing VERY loudly.

And he's not just a youth pastor. He is a friend, a husband, and an amazing dad.

To a guy who has changed lives of so many teens through the years. To a guy who no matter the difficulty - he will be your friend. To a guy who has zeal for the Lord and is so excited to share it with people. You're pretty cool..
