Smokies // 2014

Well. It has been a while since this trip, but none the less!

I fell in love with the Smokies during our stay there in a cabin last thanksgiving. It was slightly on the cold side, but that didn't stop me from wearing my chacos to climb the trees and rocks.

The sky was magnificent. The trees were vivid in green.
The water was crystal. The air was crisp.

At the top of Capes Cod selfie with my sister. The view was phenomenal.  It took my breath away. The layers and layers of mountains that my camera couldn't even capture was so enrapturing.

The sound of water constantly flowing was simply incredible. It never stopped. Driving the roads by the rivers, we couldn't help but endure the cold to
listen to the rushing river.

We couldn't NOT get a family photo. It was quite the experience setting up a tripod in the rocks, and running with a countdown of 10 seconds. So proud we actually got one!
I love capturing my family and our fun!

Pip was the tool of our main project. Smokies // 2014 video. We really focused in on testing out our videography skills. I've never had more fun editing footage than from this trip. My sister and I combining our creativity and visions for a dreamy adventure turned out exceptional if i do say so myself.

Can't forget our annual funnel cake! This place was the very first place i tried the fried and powder sugar goodness. Quite the American experience.
Something so simple yet soooo delicious.

Went on an awesome hike with my dad. My favorite hiking buddy by far. I loved our conversations as we climbed the mountain. :
It was an adventure and the destination at the top was beautiful.

Overall this trip was memorable to say the least. I can't wait to get a backpack on and hike some more this year. The Smokies in even winter takes your breath away. The Lord's creation on display. There was photo everywhere to be taken. These are simply my favorites.
