First Stop: Lamberts! (Sikston, MO) Be ready to catch a roll flying at you. Hot rolls. Wonderful hot rolls being tossed from across the restaurant starting at 10:30 a.m This spiffy place has been around long enough it is worth the 20 minutes off the Chicago route. The license plates, photos, quotes, and so much more on the walls covering the store from head to toe. 
Reassuring to see a few of these signs on our way down endless highways through endless fields.
What did we do on the way?
- Introduced music to each other
- Talked about everything!!
- Finished my History book
And we found the skyline, guys! Nine hours later here we are. Memphis TN to Chicago IL.
The father-daughter trip has begun. What a better place to start then some skyline artsy pictures?
This of course is only beginning of the skyline pictures. For the next few days came walking miles, riding the L, stepping out on Willis tower, taking hundreds of photos, and so many little adventures. Can't wait to post more photos. Hope you enjoyed just the DRIVING DAY!
